I got to "The Granite Citadel" and i go to the armorer and I'm trying to buy the noble set. i have like over 500 cloth and 35 bolts of damask, and a bit over 15k. the problem is when i try to buy the Noble Attire, the 15k is normal color, the cloth is normal color, but the damask is red. it wouldnt let me buy it. Even tho i have 35 Damask in my inventory, it just says "Crafting this item uses 15 bolts of Damask. You need 15 more." and like i said i have 35 Damask in my inventory. Anyways... i doubt im doing somthing wrong so this gotsa be fixed.

Edit: damnit forgot, this should be in the reporting bug topic, sry.

Bugs should now be reported via the support page at the official Guild Wars site (http://www.guildwars.com). There's a sticky thread in this very forum discussing this.

The same happens for every armor using a "special" ingredient (Atleast the steel and the vellum as I know, actually it counts it as the "base" resource, deldrimor steel as steel, vellum as parchment etc.)

Reported it as a bug 5 days ago.

great... this is the answer e-mail i got.

"Hello,

We have received your question about Guild Wars gameplay. We are not able to respond to individual gameplay questions. We are however offering an extensive online manual that will provide answers to questions about how to play the game and about how the various facets of the game function.(http://www.guildwars.com/manual/default.html) This document will be changing periodically and growing to better serve your needs. We would like to suggest that you ask questions of a gameplay nature on one of our many excellent fansite forums, listed on this link: http://www.guildwars.com/community/default.html. The fans playing Guild Wars are usually more than happy to answer questions and provide other players with gameplay suggestions and advice, and many of them are active in one or more of the forums listed. And of course during gameplay, you may find that the fastest means to an answer is to ask the question in the game itself.

We look forward to providing a great future resource for Guild Wars in our online manual, and we thank you for your interest in the game.

Regards,
The Guild Wars Support Team"

Put yourself in their shoes. They get hunreds, probably thousands, of tech-support emails a day. Most of those are probably junk or bugs/errors they are already in the process of fixing.

Just because they're not giving you a personal reply, it doesn't meant your feedback isn't considered and/or appreciated.
This is, in a business model sense, the most efficient way to treat technical issues.
Things such as personal emails take up time, which in a business translates into money. This is of course an "ideal" scenario. What happens with personal interaction is tech-support gets bogged down by having to waste time explaining things to random people with random problems, while they could be using that time to actually fix the problem. Chances are, they know a lot more about the game than the average user. Give them the benefit of the doubt that they know how to run their business.

And in a business model sense, one low salary Mexican worker pressing 1 button per customer question via e-mail for an automatic e-mail reply is alot faster and cheaper than actually giving you customer support.

I'm going to explain this because most people won't be able to see the sarcasm peeking through your trite reply.
There is no "low salary Mexican worker" doing anything. It is all automated.

More over, believe it or not, if the company employed people to sit and cater to tech-support problems on a one to one basis you would get much, much, much worse "support" when viewing the business as a whole and in the long-term.

It is not automated as when I send stuff in, you can see spelling errors sometimes, and sometimes you do not.

But to me it seems like you sent it to the wrong department =/

Same, my dedlimore steel was mistaken for steel. I saw that it said I can make a armor with steel, but I didn't have steel, so I think I know what's going on -.-.
