The name of the guild represented here is to be kept secret - released only to members until it's first match is played as "silence brings naught but fear to the enemy."
The Guild does not believe in flaunting itself for all to see (hence, no flashy graphics or other sparkly additions here.) It's nature is one of silence, intense pride and dignity - in war, all of these are scary things.
Honor, Camaraderie and Blood for Blood without remorse...
The Guild intends to participate heavily in all aspects of the game, PvM to strengthen characters and team unity (and for the sheer fun of it), along with refining strategies, PvP to promote individuality amongst members (the Guild will provide full support here - more information on membership) and GvG for obvious but not typical* reasons.
* Explained to members
The Guild is built on a foundation of strength in war and unity of souls, placing a mentality of 'no one left behind' first and foremost in all cases. The guild does not discriminate on any basis. Respect and Honor are cardinal virtues along with Intellect, compassion and Brother/Sister-Hood.
Respect - Respect ones place in the chain of command, though everyone is seen as an equal, there is a ranking system designed to alleviate administrative difficulties (in the event of a drawn vote, etc) and to provide direction on the battlefield. Respect also ones teammates (they may have a different opinion, idea or position but none the less, respect amongst all members only strengthens the guild) and respect ones opponents (no forms of flaming, berating, obscenities towards other players or any likeness or simulacrum thereof will be tolerated with punishment swift and ruthless). More on the ranking system is explained to members on admission - the Guild prides itself on existing without any form of "Lord --- Peon" basis.
Honor - In line with respect, fight with honor and integrity to the utmost - no exploitation of bugs or any such facility will be accepted nor will any hacking, cracking, alteration of any facet of the game in any of its parts or any like offense will be tolerated. The Guild expects members to represent themselves and the Guild with honor irregardless of where a member may be.
Intellect - The Guild prizes intelligence and believes that intellect and fighting with the mind rather than the sword or spell is the key to victory, hence time will be given to strategy and discussions had over forming the best posisble team. The guild sees no merit to the 'kill everything any way possible mentality' rather seeks to, through strategy, observation and study, play the game as one would perform an art (that is not to say that having fun is not a top priority, but to deter non-serious players from joining the ranks.
Compassion - The fourth virtue of the Guild and one of the most vital. Compassion is most likely what other guilds lack, what weakens them. Compassion here represents selfless acts that better the guild, giving of oneself to and for the guild and above all, understanding circumstances surrounding other players. Such as giving resources to ones teammates and to the guild without asking questions. This is also the ability to ask ones teammates for anything one may need.
Brother/Sister-Hood - The final and MOST important virtue. This was said once to a Merovingian army before an attack on the Roman Imperial State "To bind with thine brothers blood thine hands in battle is to burn thine name into the stars - in victory" - Anonymous
That is to say that every member of the Guild will know every other member of their team better than they know themselves, both personally and player-wise. Knowing ones teammates this well allows a team to play flawlessly together, keeps communication open and makes teamwork much more effective.
Requirements for admission:
1) First and foremost desire to have fun and play the game.
2) Ability to dedicate a fair ammount of time to the guild (The Guild does understand - and this falls under compassion - that members do have lives but does too realize that being the best takes time)
3) Desire to further the guild before all else
4) Desire to participate seriously (again, it is meant to be fun)
5) Desire for victory in all aspects
6) Desire to play ONLY for the guild
7) Finally - for more information regarding any aspect of the Guild or to apply email Nameless_Guild@hotmail.com
I have dispensed with the finer points and tried to lay down here a basic outline for any who may be potentially interested. Feel free to send a message to the adress above for clarification.
** Note, Teamspeak is also an absolute MUST.
I thank you for taking the time to read this
Many may come... but in the end there will be but a chosen few.
