New to the site

Hey guys, I'm new to this site. Is there any good roleplay threads going on, because I'm tired of the Warcraft universe and wanna get a try at Guild Wars.

The taverns thread (http://www.guild-hall.net/forum/showthread.php?t=292) has just been infected with new life. The adventure started came to an end, so we've bounced to a new locale. Post #94 is where the new adventure begins.

The Mines (http://www.guild-hall.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1109) and North by Northwest (http://www.guild-hall.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1113) were both started on the old boards and transfered over. Both are still going strong.

The Company of Death (http://www.guild-hall.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1115) is another active one.

well actually lol...the tavern in the storm riders forums is still going....but i might make my character " Adrious " go to there just cause i like him better than any of the other i have made.....so i might make an appearance on the taverns thread here

though i am not new to the community, i just recently stumbled upon the Role Player's Corner. i was quite suprised b/c i never realized such a place existed. while i am waiting for the game to come out, what better way to spend a lil time. middle-earth role playing has gotten a lil stale for me (been involved with that forum for over a year now) so this was like perfect timing.

are there any new threads/stories that need another character? i dont wanna jump in and ruin someones flow.

Role-Playing on forums is like real real old school. There have been huge communities dedicated to just RP. Its basically like a game without....well....the graphics or sounds. Several players get together and create situations/characters. These evolve into stories and can sometimes be quite lengthy and involved. Its a good time, and I especially enjoy RP's that coincide with a game under development. I guess it all boils down to the community and how much you like writing.
