We are the Seventh Alliance, a guild brought together by lust for power and glory. Our main focus will be on PvP, and our goal is to be one of the top guilds in the game. The members we have so far are all very dedicated to this game, and between us we share multiple years of experience in competitive and cooperative online gaming.

Seventh Alliance is looking for recruits who are interested in becoming a dominant force in the world of Guild Wars, and, just as importantly, interested in having a good time with our group while doing so. The methods to achieve our goals will be focused around strong teamwork and an adhesive group of people. Hey there. I'm Dion, one of the trio of leaders of the Seventh Alliance. As a group of highly experienced online pvp gamers, we're looking at Guild Wars as a challenge. We're not interested in being a bunch of 'uber dewds'. What we are interested in is nourishing the environment of Ascalon and the realms with healthy competition, and dedicated training, strategy, and teamwork.
We're about dedication to competition, and dedication to one another. Within the guild, all full members will have an equal voice, and recruiting is only a method of trying out possible individuals for membership. Finally, we're not much for roleplaying -- we're here to enjoy a game together; those are our aims, and our aspirations. What are yours?
So if you're interested in competition, teamwork, training, and enjoyment while playing Guild Wars, VII might be for you. I encourage you to look us up, talk to us, and figure out whether we're your cup of tea. If we are, great, and if we're not, fine by us. Either way, enjoy your guild wars experience.

Our experience includes MUDS (The basis for MMO's, over a decade old), EQ, CoH, FFXI, NWN, D2, Strategy games like Starcraft and Warcraft, as well as extensive pvp and clan work in FPS' like Q3, QWTF, and CS.


Allow me to share some of our history:

War. It is a word that these lands know well. All great wars are won with great strength and great knowledge. There were seven men who believed in this principle, and knew that with it they could find their way to power and glory. But the wisdom of these men was also the root by which their rulers anchored them. Nonetheless, they arranged a meeting. It was at this meeting that 7 men plotted the greatest war that the world would ever see. It would be a war to end all wars and unite 7 kingdoms.

Alas, the plot was only given a short breath of life. The seven men were hunted down; their families and followers brushed into death like so much dust. One of the seven, a ranger, slipped through the grip of his assailants and made his way to the lost men of the coalition. Yet his skills of tracking led him to only two of the remaining 6 men.

The three heroes began the reparation of the great plan, the great alliance.

Just a note to all to check this Alliance , its not too big at the moment ( Fairly New ) but at least for me it shouldn't be that big anyway since their is small amount of poeple alowed in a Guild to begin with but it should grow in the future and honestly i like the layout of their web site its neat and organized and everybody should check it out.

With the new site, forums, and apply form, we're welcoming potential candidates to apply more than ever now. We've got a very strong member base of close friends, many of whom knew each other before beginning the guild, and we're recruiting many more. Even so, if you're interested in a guild that is focused on PvP, and formed around the unity, friendship, and teamwork of its members, check us out. What with all the new crazy alpha/beta wave announcement thingies, I thought I'd make it clear that VII is still recruiting as before; now, be warned, it's not a quick ticket into alpha; there are a lot of people in line already; and, the same process we've always used will apply (Recruiting phase before a promotion to full member) - nonetheless, if you're interested in joining a real guild, come by and check us out.

Kael, use ventrilo for superior voice quality. Its better even if there are fewer speaking options.

i can also attest to that. i've used ventilo, teamspeak, and gamevoice. GV just plain sucks, TS is ok, but ventrilo has the best sound clarity.

Thanks for the suggestion. I used TS in SB and hadn't gotten around to trying out the other programs yet. We wanted to test them all, but haven't had the chance

Also, my FPS clan was using GameVoice, then we went to TS, then finally to Ventrilo. TS and Ventrilo are both very good, but we preferred Ventrilo.
