Greetings :)

First I'd like to start off by posting some info on our clan:

Our name is Infractus. We're a very close guild consisting of 5 people. We're all from Denmark (Viborg), ages 18 and up, and are in the same class in our Business-Highschool. We've been following this game for quite a while (especially me, expressing great interest in it since it was announced by NCsoft). We've already planned strategies, team combos and etc. We plan to play 10+ hours daily and be very focused on PvP and all upcoming events and tournies. This is why we are looking for new members. We're thinking of bringing our number of members up to around 8, to take full advantage of all pvp scenarios.

If this appeals to you, these are our requirements:

- Danish only (sorry, but we'd like to keep the same timezone, and same language in vent)

- Large daily gaming-time (around 5+ hours a day would be great) the reason for this is to keep the level of skill and gameplay to ours. A clan with very skilled players, and a few very non-skilled players doesnt really make sense ^^

- Be social. Have a mic and be prepared to eventually join us at LAN. :D

- Preferably ages 18+ We'd like to keep it mature, as I myself have had bad experiences with those of less age. But if you consider yourself mature and don't match the age requirement, feel free to contact me anyway.

- And the most important, earn my/our trust and friendship first. I would personally like to talk daily with the person wanting to join, before we let him in, but ofcourse as i am only the tactical leader (only having the power of making decisions on the battle field as i'm the team's monk), we all consider ourselves equal leaders in the clan and we all have the same priviliges. After all, our clan's based upon a group of 5 friends ^^

If you feel you meet these requirements and still want to join our team, please either PM me or send an e-mail to my_azz_hurts@hotmail.com with the following:

- Name
- Age
- Class combo/suggestions
- Location
- E-mail, MSN, mobile phone # (any of these)
- And ofcourse, any misc. info you'd like us to know.

Be creative. We'd rather consider it a friendly letter than a job application ^^

EDIT:

oh yes. I'd like to add that because we plan to be a small clan only big enough for tournies, we haven't made a site yet. We see little use for one right now, other than to tell others "here we are". Hopefully our name will do that for us in-game ^^. Most clans (as far as i've seen) have their sites up as information for other guild members, such as member roster and "ranks". We don't believe in "zerging" with members we dont know, so that's why this won't be an issue in Infractus. Like i said in the original post, we're based on a friendship and a passion to play games slightly more hardcore than others. So if you're looking for a huge site, a roster of 200+ members and ranks like "masters", "recruits" and etc. this isn't the clan for you ^^

sinR even if you do not like the idea of a roster and guild rules and such as part of your website, I would still recommend setting up some kind of forum software.

Forums allow people to communicate with each other when they are not on ventrilo (also our preferred method of communication).

There are some good free providers of forum software phpbb being our preferance. You can also find hosting to suit your needs for 5 dollars month if you look around I believe.

yea that's what i was thinking of too when we decided to eventually put up a site. it'd be pretty much only for the forum and the "here we are" part.

its not that i don't believe in guild rules or rosters. Ofcourse that'd be great for large on-line clans (clans consisting of members who only know eachother on-line) who plan to just zerg with members, but we'd rather keep this a small clan if you know what i mean. I'm only posting this because we could use a couple more so we could take full advantage of all the pvp scenarios, so the requirements are pretty tough..such as meeting us in real life ^^.

But yea, my appreciation for the forum provider tip
