"The Brothers Bound In Combat" (*BBC|) is an association of players that span over many games. We have our own website (www.BBCgamingnetwork.com) with our own forums. We currently have divisions for Final Fantasy XI (Quetzalcoatl), Star Wars: Galaxies (Sunrunner), World of Warcraft, and probably our most renowned division, the Neverwinter Nights division. For any of you who played Neverwinter Nights online, you may have seen or played on the Gods Arena PvP Server. That was hosted and run by us. (Although on a hiatus at the moment, Gods will be returning shortly)

If you play any of these games or are just interested in *BBC| in general, stop by the website or leave a message on the forums . We're happy to meet new people and will try to help you however we can.

I am looking to create a Guild Wars division in *BBC|.

Here is our Code of Ethics for all those that are interested:

****************************** *****************

1. Fun: You will not be welcomed in this clan/guild if you do not have fun and get along with others. Fun is any attitude that can be construed as, but not limited to, pleasant, agreeable, or any positive attitude displayed by both BBC and NON-BBC members.

2. Team work: This falls into the FUN factor. Team work is essential! We cannot have fun if everyone is gung-ho and goes off on their own when we are trying to create strategy and team work. There is a time and a place for that and that is when you are playing by yourself or with non-BBC. The idea of team work also only applies to games that require it as part of the game play. If there is no team work involved and it is a simple deathmatch or whatnot, then no team work is needed. Team work is any form of gameplay where teammates follow directives given by higher ranking players or anyone willing to take command for that particular round of gameplay. This also includes following direct orders, sticking with your team, and having fun. Anything not becoming of team work will result in exclusion from that round of gameplay by a server admin. !!!NOTE!!!: Team work does NOT mean that you must win every round. If you lose inspite of your team work you can take pride in the fact that you did your best and that is all that matters. =)

3. Sportsmanship: This term is defined as any action becoming of good manners and good gameplay. Foul language directed at a player in a demeaning fashion is not accepted in any way shape or form. This goes the same for those who provoke such language. Foul language said in jest or jokingly will be accepted. If a harsh comment was construed as personal or demeaning then the target of the comment will be expected to notify the person making the comment before proceeding to report the situation to a server admin or BBC Leader. We will NOT hear you complain if there is no basis for argument. All in all, make sure every player is having a good time. Those who are NOT BBC are welcomed to leave if they do not agree with what is going on in the game.

4. Promotion: Every member will be expected, not required, to promote themselves and BBC to other players in ANY game we partake in playing. This means that you represent BBC in all forms and must respect other players DESPITE their attitudes towards you or other BBC members. You are not BBC, BBC is you! So make sure everyone thinks that YOU are a good player, skill-wise AND sportsmanship-wise. We do not need to sink to their level of degradation and rude comments. This also applies to guest who post in our forums. We need to be respectful of other people, their ideas and views. If they are rude or disrespectful by any means forum moderators are in a position to take care of the problem. Instead of flaming that person you are obligated to notify a forum moderator so they can look into the problem. Multiclanning (Joining *BBC| for say one division and being in another clan for another division) is not accepted in *BBC|.

5. Right vs. Privileges: You will earn your privileges by proving yourself to BBC leaders. Privileges are determined as Admin Privileges, Special Recognition, Leadership Roles in game divisions and anything else that we (the leaders of BBC) deem fit at the time. Rights are determined as the right to play in any BBC gaming server DESPITE what division you fall under or partake in on a regular basis. This provides YOU the players the ability to be flexible. Rights also include such things are server time, forums access, voting privileges, and updates with clan policies.
5a. Server Time: Every BBC member will be guarenteed server time given there is available spaces with ALL non-BBC removed from server; i.e. if EVERYONE in the server is a BBC member and the server is full and another BBC member wants to join in that member will have to wait until there is another available spot. If there is a non-BBC member is present during a full server that player will be asked to leave to permit a BBC member to join in and play instead.
5b. Forums Access: All BBC members will have access to the MEMBERS Section as long as they are in good standing. All other password-protected forums will be restricted to members who are willing to play in that division. If you are not in that division then there is no reason for you to be posting there. Good Standing is defined by not having any restrictions whatsoever.
5c. Voting Privileges: Being a member of BBC you all have the right to be included in any general clan decisions. These will vary and there WILL be cases where only leaders will be able to vote on a particular topic, however, once a private decision has been concluded everyone will be immediately notified VIA Members Forums.
5d. Updated Clan Policies: Every member will be immediately notified of any policy changes VIA the Forums.

6. Forums: THE FORUMS ARE YOUR SOURCE OF INFORMATION. DO NOT EXPECT US TO NOTIFY EVERYONE INDIVIDUALLY ABOUT UPDATES, MATCHES, AND SO ON. So please remember to check the forums at least every other day to be informed about what is going on in *BBC|. This does not mean you have to REPLY to all threads in the forums, but your feedback is expected if it is asked. REMEMBER!: We will NOT take your ideas into consideration if we do not know what they are! So when you input is asked, and you do not give it to us, do NOT get mad when we make decisions based on what feedback we DID get that you do not agree with. NO FEEDBACK = NO SAY IN DECISIONS.

7. Problems and Consequences: We would hope that their would be no problems at all, but unfortunately bad things do happen and we need to have ways of dealing with them. Every situation that we (the Leaders) come across will be personally looked into by an available BBC Leader. Punishment will also be determined by a collective vote with BBC Leaders. When a problem occurs the following will take place:
7a. The situation will be directed to BBC Leaders ONLY! If none are available when a problems occurs you will wait until one becomes available. Situations are NOT to be discussed publicly unless a BBC Leader deems fit. The forums are not a median to air your dirty laundry so we expect you to keep your mouth shut until a BBC Leader gets a chance to analyze the situation.
7b. After careful consideration and hearing BOTH sides of the story (those involved will be given a chance to explain themselves) a meeting will proceed with all BBC Leaders to determine punishment.
7c. Punishment will be fair and final! There are no re-trials, no appeals.
7II. Violations and Punishments of BBC clan and server policies for NON-BBC players will be dealt with on a situational basis and punishment will be determined as either restricted forums/server(s) access and/or a temporary/permanent ban from forums/server(s). These will also be directed to BBC Leaders ONLY!

8. *BBC| is a cheat free clan, and will remain so. If you are a member of *BBC| don't download cheats, don't install cheats, don't use cheats. We will deal with each situation swiftly and harshly, we play games to have fun and to have fun with others in *BBC|. Cheating takes away from the fun and ruins the game for your members and others.

9. Everything Else...: Anything that is not pre-determined in this doctrine will be dealt with on a situational basis. This means that anything not covered in this document will be discussed and voted on by BBC members and/or Leaders and Amendments will be made.

These are our Code of Ethics. They are flexible, but solid. BBC Leaders may "bend" the rules as they see fit and only if the situation allows it and other BBC Leaders agree with said action.

****************************** ******************

So there you go, we are a well renowned guild that loves to have fun and loves to work together! So hop on by the website (www.bbcgamingnetwork.com) and leave *BBC|Typhoon a message on the forums. We are all looking forward to meeting you.

Thanks in advance,

*BBC|Typhoon

I guess I should post why YOU should join *BBC|

1) Organization: With our own website and forums which means that we already have a very easy way to communicate with eachother. I find this next fact very important: We believe in an equal representation style or membership. As a member, if you find nine other people who are interested in the game you play and are interested in *BBC|, they can all join and a division will be created for that game. Other than the leader of each division, every member's opinion has equal value to another member's. I don't understand the whole need to have a tiered leadership ladder; it just plays toward the egos of people who want to be on a power trip. If a decision needs to be made, whether it be in a game or in *BBC| as a whole, members vote and express their opinions as EQUALS.

2) Experience: Having played through a few MMORPG's, we know how to lead a group of likeminded individuals for the greater good . It always takes awhile to figure out how a guild will interact when a game first comes out. Just an example: We already know that a weekly guild event should be scheduled on days based on the schedules of our members.

3) Diversity: We already have a member base made up of people spanning a wide variety of ages, nationalities, and walks of life. You can meet many people and make many friends. Here's a real life experience of mine: We had just recruited a few members for our Socom II division, and in their introductory posts explaining who they were, I realized that they lived near me. It just so turns out we had mutual friends and had probably met before. This is just a small sample of relationships had through *BBC|.

4) Focus: We are focused on the enjoyment of our members. We have several regular LAN parties that lots of our members attend, and we schedule them early so people who live farther away have an opportunity to plan their schedules accordingly. We have several General Discussion Forums including forums for lovers of Literature, Music, Movies, TV, Artwork, Sports, Console Gaming, and PC gaming. We are also focused on being a strong and competitive team. Many of us have our gaming roots grounded in team PvP, so we know how to work together as a unit to conquer a common goal.

So please visit our website (www.bbcgamingnetwork.com). If you have any questions at all, please create an account and either send a PM to *BBC|Typhoon (that'd be me) or just post on our forums.

Thanks in advance,

*BBC|Typhoon
