I am indeed looking for a guild to join. My existing group, the Sundered Angels, will not be playing GW, so I'd like to find another group to play GW with.

I've tested many games, including Lineage II, Soldner and Planetside.

I have a lot of little ideas stuck up in my head for GW, but I really need in-game play to help me refine those ideas (and to have a legitimate channel with which to suggest them).

I will be playing in all parts of GW: PvE, PvP, Solo; and would very much like to check out the guild aspect of the game.

Plus, I'm a GameStop manager and I need in-game experience to help sell more GW reservations, so I can have a legion of GW players in my town to talk about it with :)

I've been playing MMORPGs since the first one: EverQuest. I played that for 2 years before taking a small break. I picked up DAOC and played that for a very long time. I left DAOC shortly after they overhauled the RvR. I really got sick of the amount of downtime involved in that game. I'm an avid gamer of all kinds, not just PC games. I'm 24 years old.

Here is a list of things I'm looking for in a guild. In order of my priority.

1)Players always around:My location doesn't matter because I work swing-shifts. So, I need a guild that has a dozen or more people on at all times of the day.
2)Maturity: I hate politics, especially in-fighting. I want leaders and officers that actually deserve to hold titles and players that are mature enough to understand the importance of being a team.
3)Doesn't have a timeclock: I hate it when people tell me that I haven't been on in awhile or that I'm so far behind now. My real life will always be more important than any game. I'm married and I have a great, but demanding, job. I have my priorities straight. The developers state this this game rewards skill and not time-spent, I expect my guild to have the exact same philosophy.
4)Is full of strategists: This guild doesn't have to be made up entirely of strategists, but those who aren't ought to be able to listen and comprehend. Strategy against monsters or players is going to be very important in this game, obviously.
5)Cooperative: Whether it be teaching someone an idea or a great combo of skills or holding onto all of your hides so you guildmates can use them. We'll be competing against every other guild, we can't compete against ourselves.
6)Teamspeak: I love using it, its so much better than typing. There is no argument, there is no alternative. However, all the above requirements have to be met for teamspeak to work. It's bad enough to read what whiny kids and bickering adults type, its far worse to hear them.

I'm preordered and will be playing every 1st weekend until this game comes out. I look forward to having fun and bringing every skill I have to your (our) guild.

Im looking for a Guild too (obviously) but I do not have too much experience with MMORPGs as I was/am not able to afford monthly payments for a game. I did however give in and play FFXI for a while when it came out, and was ecstatic to hear that a MMORPG was coming to the market that would not require a monthly fee to play. I played a minimal amount on the last beta weekend, and plan to spend my weekend at the computer for the next beta weekend. I like to think that I am a pretty intelligent video gamer, and a quick learner, and am looking to play some sort of War/Monk or Monk/War in the game. (Not sure, still researching it.)

Made the mistake of posting a topic rather than noting the stickies, was directed here.

I've an excessive number of hours playing Diablo II under my belt and have a gaming history that goes back to the days of /floppy/ floppy discs and Apple IICs. Current addictions are Sims 2, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, Myst 4, and Half-Life 2, but I have a strong feeling that Guild Wars is going to trump the lot of them, seeing as I've been empty since Diablo II lost its thrill.

To whichever guild I'm with, I'd bring a healthy knowledge of the game, willingness to help others, frequent activity in recruiting, and my unique sense of humor to your guild. I'd considered created my own, but there are already so many great ones out there, I figured I'd see who was interested.

This is the first online multiplayer game i have played so my experience is limited in PvP but i have played both BWE's and the WPE....im hooked already. I have recieved alot of guild invites but i didnt think i would enjoy PvP so i declined them all. Towards the end of the last BWE i decided i would try out the tombs and see what all the fuss was about, i got crushed by LoTD and GoD...the teamwork they both showed was very impressive and sold me on PvP.

I know i could wait until the next beta weekend and it would be very easy to join a guild but it seems there are some very good ones on these forums and i would like to join one fairly large so there will always be guild mates online to play with. Im currently looking for a serious Guild to do GvG with. I am a fully dedicated healing monk, (Mo/E), and even was one of the main players in the guild I currently belong to (WOLF) that was able to get up to 35th place in less than a day(before one of our guild mates lost a bunch of games for us over night). Looking for a guild that understands the meaning and fun of guilds at war ( the strategy, the planning and the fullfillment of victory.) A bit tired of everyone in EQ afraid to have some adventuring because they so afraid they might lose a bit of EXP. That is the hold on so many. I would like to play with a guild thats not so retiring and rocking chair obsessed. I was afraid I was growing old in EQ after 5 years of play and now there is new hope of a game that is`nt so laid back and dead (taking days sitting on a mob that gains ya a small token of releaf that it`s over and not satisfaction as many think it is. hahaha I see so much hope here in a game that may be exciting and a pleasure to sit down at and be rewarded and fullfilled at the end of a game session.
Oh Yes commander Style, the battlements are prepaired and the enemy is approching from the north. They will be quite shocked at our might and power.

I've been following Guild Wars since it's initial inception, well since it's Web site went live long ago. I have participated in every public beta event including the weekend beta events... yes I have the preorder.

I like to play the warrior class (because I usually wind up leading the charge) and I also like to play the monk class (when I get tired of charging), which gives me an opportunity to wade back behind the battle a little and play a support role. I can see that I will also venture into the mesemer class at some point as well.

I'm a male about 30 years of age. I have time to play during evenings and weekends and I've been playing online games since the MUD days. For you youngsters out there that's a Multi User Dungeon. The first ever multiplayer games over a network. Text based games. I've played just about every type of game known to man. You seriously don't want to know how many games I have played. :laugh:

I've been playing mmo's since 1999 with Ultima online. I migrated to Dark Age of Camelot in 2002, and stayed there for a year. I then moved around from game to game for quite a while (1+ year). I've recently quit World of Warcraft, due to its numerous problems.
After playing through all the events in Guild Wars since the world preview, I've been struck with how convenient this game is. Not to mention it's beautiful graphics and blood pounding pvp. My only gripe is the small amount of character customization it has.
I play at random times usually, due to my random work schedule. But I usually do NOT play from 1am EST to 9am est.
The characters I'm most interested in are monk, warrior, and mesmer types. I've mostly played a warrior/monk in the events. But I expect I'll try mesmers a bit more next time.
I am NOT looking for just any guild. No flavor of the month junk heaps that just recruit anyone. I'll gladly adventure and hang out with guild members before I join, for weeks or even months beforehand. In fact, I'd prefer this route. I also expect the guild to have a website up, not soon to be up. This will show it's stability.
I will immediately leave or cease contact with a guild if it's members hit on me. Countless times I've met the lonely warrior or paladin who constantly /hugs and follows me everywhere. I will not tolerate this!
If I seem a bit cold in this post, please forgive me. I think/hope I can be very fun to adventure with. I just need to get to know everyone first.

well after last BWE I decided I want to join a guild with an older player base (if thats possible)

I dont know a lot about GW really, Ive been a member of the storm riders since e3 and try to stay well versed in the mechanics of GW but am not an alpha.

I used to play NS since its release, before that I had played 3 years of Quake2, 5 years of CS and havee been playing starcraft infrequently since its release.

ATM I dont get much time for games online, but do try to make an effort for the bwes, as compensation for lack of an internet connection at university atm I play for the university chess team; and thanks to NS have a reasonable grasp of teamwork, tactics and strategy... though theyre probably getting rusty nowadays :x

Though we all like a friendly guild I really am looking for a team with a much more calm but serious(not too serious ;)) approach to pvp and teamwork in general.

I am a gamer of 14 years (since I was a weeee little boy). I'm now 21, and attend college and I work at Walgreens (hell on earth).

I've played during two events in Guild Wars, the world preview event and february's BWE. I've pre-ordered the game, and will be attending the next two events before release. I've played up to level 5 with a dozen different characters, tried out the pre-made ones, and advanced up to Lion's Arch with a level 13 Warrior/Monk. I plan on sticking with the W/Mo unless they drastically change the classes (Nerfs are accounted for, because they are a bit overpowered).
I mostly enjoy pvp, but seeing the sights in-game is a close second.

I hope to find a well organized guild. Website and forums are a must. Ranks, officers, etc are important also, but I'm not looking for a guild that worships it's leaders.

I am interested in finding a guild that I can belong to in GW come release. Die Schwarze Lilie was a great group of people, but they are almost all European. Over the long term this will present a problem as I won't understand what is being said on Ventrilo. If you honestly don't believe I am apart of this guild, I can easily log onto one of my characters and send whomever a message, which should be enough proof.

Now that you know I am good enough to play with a guild who has been consistently on the front page of the ladder for the BWEs, I'd just like to make note that I will not even consider joining a guild that is below 40 (the only exception to this are guilds who have a good record, yet have not had the opportunity to GvG enough to get into the top 40)

I am looking for a solid guild and not some upstart guild that has no purpose or goal. The last event, I joined a guild called STLK that only has two members. At the time, I was grateful to join a guild as I heard alot of good things about the benefits of being a guild member. I found out later how to quit from the guild.

I haven't played any BWEs since the world preview one because I am in the military and have spent a good chunk of time over seas, but I am back in place now and ready for GW to come out. Played a War/Monk for the duration of the event.

Currently I play WoW as a 60 Shaman on the Azgalor server.

I haven't been a part of any guild really... and have jumped around through different small guilds as I've gamed over the years.

My gaming history has stretched almost 5 years. I started back in the day with MUDs and a minor addiction to Ultima Online. I played UO at a friends house every couple of weeks in High School.

After getting into the military I got into UO full time and moved on from UO into Dark Ages of Camelot when it launched. I played DAoC up until World of Warcraft launched. I have now and still continue to play WoW.

I also played for short periods... Anarchy Online, Shadowbane, Earth and Beyond beta, Lineage 2 beta, and Asherons Call 2.

Also I have played a variety of FPS games for a good period of time. Call of Duty, UT2k3, and Battlefield 1942. I currently play Counterstrike:Source, Half Life 2eathmatch, and Star Wars:Battlefront.

I can't really say I know much about Guild Wars right now, but I am willing to learn with the right people.

Hello, I am an adult gamer (31 years old), married with a child on the way.

My primary character is a Ranger/Necromancer, level 8. And I am about to leave for post-searing (About to enter the academy). I have a friend I have been gaming with as well who would probably be interested, he has the same gameplay style as me (more interested in just going on a fun dungeon romp with a mature group of gamers). I don't know how interested in PvP he will be, but I know I will be very interested once I feel I am comfortable enough with my skills and my builds.

I game almost daily however, for at least 2 hours a day. I am looking for an American guild (since I'm east coast, one with a good many east coast players would be ideal, but not totally necessary).

I'm more into PvE than PvP, but I have a feeling that will change once I get in with a good guild. I am a mature gamer, and I am not interested in competing with members of my own guild or group for loot and experience. Just interested in having a good time, and meeting some good friends to game with.

I have plenty of experience with RPG's, and also with strategy games and CCG's (Such as Magic: The Gathering). I like to quest A LOT, and sometimes am quite a bit of a Obsessive Compulsive with trying to finish all the quests I Can (not concerned with the rewards per-se, but more in playing out the "story").

Level 20 Ascended Warrior/Necromancer looking for a guild that is big into PvP or Questing. I use an axe-swinging maniac build that casts nothing but curses to reduce armor and cause negative health regen. Good against hordes of creeps, or other players. Have more than 90% of all skills for my classes unlocked, a good number of the item upgrades, and about 25% of the runes.

Hello, I'm looking for a serious active guild, I have two characters already at the lvl cap and training for pvp. I have been in several guilds that were not what I was looking for. I'm gonna be honest about what I'm looking for cause I'm seriously getting tired of finding the right guild.

Things I'm looking for:
1. People who will be on most of the day/night
(I don't know how many guilds I been in that say they have a active guild and when I join they have 3 or 4 people on most of the time and a ton of non-active that hasn't been on in a week or month.

2. A non-casual guild
(This is pretty much same as #1. Most casual guilds have people hopping on for a hour or so then jump off. If I'm gonna join a pvp guild and most of the people only gonna be on for a hour or so then forget it. Theres not much you can accomplish in that time span.)

3. No newbies or l33t speakers
(I don't wanna join a guild and then have every one asking me for help with so and so mission or asking me for money/weapons. I don't mind helping out with missions every once in awhile, because I know people need to get their characters up, but when you spam the guild chat "LFG LFG LFG", then I'm gonna probably tell ya to shut the hell up.)

4. Pvp/Pve guild
(I don't understand guilds who come to this game and will not pvp. If your one of those guilds, don't messenge me. I want a serious guild who's gonna pvp most of the time but will PvE every so often, just mainly to get the items/skills you need, or help other members to get what they need. My main character which I enjoy the most is a Monk. I have 3 RP Characters. 20 Monk/Ranger (Demolish Owns) hes at the last mission. 20 Ele/Necro (Demolish Begins) hes at the first new Ice Area mission. 16 Warrior/Mesmer (Unreal Demolish) hes at Henge of Denravi. I typically use my fourth slot to make the PvP character using all the skills I have unlocked. My only character in the BWE's was a Monk , which is still the primary class I prefer to play. He can go protection or healing depending on the situation. The only guild I have been in is sKu which I started, but we are having problems getting enough people who are active.

What I am looking for in a guild: American (I live on the East Coast). Highly active. On the ladders or looking to join the ladders really soon. Web-site/Forum isnt needed, but I suppose helpful to communicate. MUST use ventrilo or teamspeak. Before committing we would have to run tombs as a guild. You need an expert target caller (I know how tough this job is, so finding a really good one is hard). A guild who wants to be top-notch.

I recently completed the game with my second character, and have been trying to break into PvP. Unfortunatly the arena matches are sketchy at best because team cooperation is almost nil, which for me really drains the fun out of them. I am a fairly experienced player, with a warrior/necro build that works great, and a shutdown ranger/mesmer build both of which have gone through the PvE storyline, and have had limited experience with in the arenas. I just started work on a Mesmer main, with plans to cycle her through a possible three subclasses depending on either what I am feeling like playing, or what she is needed for in a match(she is a monk sub right now, for combat ressing in the arena). Anyway, basiclly I am looking for a guild to join so I can actually start participating in GvG and HoH matches on a regular basis. Hi there! My name is Adam and my in game name is "Alexander Iv." (lvl 17 R/Mo) I did not find my current guild to my liking so I decide it was best for me to quit the guild. It was just too unorganized, and out of the 30 members only 10 in all played and I am usually the only one logged on.

I am looking for a strong and popular guild that has built a good reputation. I am a hardcored PvE and a dedicated PvP. I haven't done much PvP yet because no one in my Guild is ever on, and I don't like to PvP with strangers. But if you are a hardcore PvP guild, I am happy to learn and become a good PvPer. I want to join a guild with a good sense of community where everyone knows eachother and hangs out and most of all has FUN. Hello, I'm looking for a serious active guild, I have two characters already at the lvl cap and training for pvp. I have been in and out of 20 guilds that were not what I was looking for. I'm gonna be honest about what I'm looking for cause I'm seriously getting tired of finding the right guild.

Things I'm looking for:
1. People who will be on most of the day/night
(I don't know how many guilds I been in that say they have a active guild and when I join they have 3 or 4 people on most of the time and a ton of non-active that hasn't been on in a week or month. Yea that might be active, but not the active I'm looking for, I don't like seeing dead space in guilds, thats space just wasted when you could find a active person to fill that spot)

2. No newbies or l33t speakers
(I don't wanna join a guild and then have every one asking me for help with so and so mission or asking me for money/weapons. What I'm looking for in a guild:

Maturity. Not necessarily based upon age, but maturity is definitely key.

Grammar, punctuation, spelling. I despise "leet-speak" and "AOL-speak". In the heat of battle for the sake of brevity, okay... but other than that, type as you would speak.

A sense of fun. I've been in "hardcore" guilds, and it's not fun for me if the sole driving focus of the guild is advancement at the expense of enjoyment.

I dislike requirements such as "hours played" or "level attainment" or "guild dues" beyond a reasonable degree. I have a life, and play for fun.

I would prefer to join a guild with a voice communication program.

RP is a bonus, but not necessary-- I've tended to be a part of RP-heavy guilds in the past, and often wrote extensively in-character.

A sense of humor. I have a very dry, sarcastic wit, and I'd like to be around people who will appreciate my frequent smart-assed comments.

rpg character max lvl completed the game ranger/monk looking for expert clan in europe with over 40ppl. Ive been on the game 2 weeks and have found myself one of the best pvp players in the game. But to be quite honest with u its pretty easy when over 50% of the players are allergic to monks and always go for warriors while another 20-30% are pvp characters with no skills whatsoever. Ive seen plenty of monks that cant even heal.

Anyway u proberly wont belive me but i am pretty good. My max record so far is 30 wins in a row (also have a screenshot of that) id like to go in pvp much more but i cant seem to find any guilds at all that are in my range of skill or higher and have a lot of ppl devoted to full time pvp tornements and guild battles.

In fact i was thinking of switching to american servers since they seem to have better players but im saving that as a last resort. I thought id try the forums so plz if theres any guilds out there that are pros and have a lot of ppl tell me about u.

I'm a new player to GRAPHICAL online games, but an avid MUD player (since the age of 13, no less!) -- being that I primarily played on RP MUDs (mostly MOOs, really), I'm looking for something a bit out of the ordinary.

I'm interested in an RP guild. As in heavy RP. Lots and lots of it. While it need not be enforced RP, I am somewhat of a stickler in seperating the OOC from the IC. Furthermore, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style are key elements of a good RP session (though need not be perfect, of course -- I'm not!). Basically, I'm looking for mature RPers who LIKE to RP and like to RP often.

That would be my first and primary goal in seeking a guild. Of course, competitive spirit is always good, and good guild battles are quite stimulating, but if I had to choose battles or RP -- I choose RP.

So... If you love RP, and are looking for another active RPer for your guild, I'd love to chit chat with you. I am a Monk/Warrior level 20. Teamplayer (to a degree..I wont hold your hand). Mature (27 I think that makes me mature). I can hold my own in a fight (With Smiting Prayers and Healing who can stop me well maybe a Mesmer). I can heal up a team rapidly (Divine Favors and Healing Prayers to MAX Scotty). Looking for a North American guild..that is competitive, GOOD at pvp (tombs/GvG/team arena- and thus obviously has a good understanding of the game, isn't some huge zerg guild or guild with 2 people, members have senses of humor... high guild rank would be preferable - mainly a team that loves to compete but even more loves to have fun (if you aren't having fun then why play?)

I would prefer a small to medium size (closer group of people) guild that is extremely active and has experience. Intelligence is a necessity.

I mainly pvp with my W/Mo Hammer/Smiter (judge's insight + adren hammer skills) - but I plan on switching to a Me/E illusion spike hexer/ward dropper for heavy anti-warrior (ineptitude/ward/spirit of failure = constant energy), but can obviously tweak skills depending on the situation of course. I'm very active and just starting on the Me/E RP'er today.

I finally decided to post on this because either the better guilds I find with cool people are already full ( or just too nazi elitist to give anyone a tryout ) or the guilds quite frankly aren't good/have retarded people in them. Well after talking with the folks in our SB chapter, my guild does not look like it will be migrating over to GW :( So that leaves me looking for a guild.

Here is what I can provide:
A fairly active player (Central Time, 9pm-12pm most nights)
One fully ascended toon (e/me)
One nearly ascended toon (mo/ne)
60% of the runes unlocked with about 20% of the superior ones
75% of the skills unlocked for e/me
60% of the skills unlocked for mo/ne
A huge storage of runes that I have not used.

More importantly, I can provide these non game assets if needed:
A private TS server with a 10mb connection
A private webserver for a guild site
A stable private forum system that has been running for several years

After building up a SB guild I have little desire to do so again. I know the work that goes into it and I have decided that I am not the recruiting type :) So instead of heading down that path, I would be interested in joining a guild that might need someone to handle their infrastructure and not be involved in recruiting or day to day guild business.

What I look for in a guild:
* Mature individuals - I don't care how good you are if you act like a c00l d00d
* Friendly people - Like many, I have limited free time. I would rather spend it with people I enjoy talking to and playing with.
* Active players - This is a must. The guild doesn't have to be huge, but enough to routinely make tombs groups and GvG is key.
* PvP / PvE Oriented - I like both aspects of the game. As I am leveling my Monk or the eventual W/R I'd love to join in with you. More important is to either be active in Tombs, or have the intention of getting there regularly. In a few weeks I'd see my time split 75% PvP / 25% PvE.

Anything beyond that is just a bonus. I am content to be a group leader and call targets, or to follow and take orders. I will not boast of being the best PvPer, but should be decent enough for just about any needs.

I'm looking for a guild currently. I mostly PvE, but I have found PvP fun so when one of my characters reaches level 20 I'll start playing around with that more. I'm an American in the US Air Force, and I play on American servers, but I'm stationed in Italy, so there may be time zone issues for me. I'm usually on from 5 in the afternoon to 11 at night my time, which translates to 11 AM to 5 PM EST. I'm open to switching over to European servers and playing with a European guild if they speak English, as I'm sad to say that my French is extremely rusty and I haven't picked up much Italian in my stay here in Italy.

My current highest level character is a level 10 Warrior/Ranger named Triff Jasra. I have a level 7 Elementalist/Monk named Lews Therin Dragon that I've had a lot of fun with - he was meant to be a pre-searing dye farmer but I like him so much I think I'll keep him.

I've been in a few guilds before. One was never around, the other I started up on my own. Both didnt work out. The one I started on my own wasnt working because no one cared to cooperate, and everyone was on at seperate times. We had about 9 members...but no one was on when I was on. NOT FUN.

I'm very picky with joining a guild. I have plenty of in game offers, obviously of low quality. Some are decent but, I need more from a guild. I offer complete dedication, am very friendly and willing to help with quests, love teamwork and having a good time.

New player here looking for an American time zone guild.

I just started playing a week ago. I created a W/R first but then I found I enjoyed Mo/Me more. I am planning to play out this Mo/Me to 20 (currently 9) and explore the game with.

I am new to GW but a veteran to online gaming - played EQ hardcore for 3 years, Diablo and Counter-Strike a lot, and a few other online games. I play couple hours almost every night, and a few hours on weekends; so I guess I fall into the casual player catagory now.

I am looking for a helpful, mature, repectful guild who doesn't spam "looking for memeber" in game, and doesn't spam the general chat channel with trading messages. :P I don't have voice chatting atm but can set it up if desired. My in game Mo/Me name is "Lin Xonic".

I am currently looking for a highly competitive guild which PvP's a great deal and is also small and close knit. I have been playing guildwars since E34E and have been in every beta there has been. I was leader of The Vanguard which placed quite well (between 10-30) in the betas and then reached first place in retail before the guild disbanded. I primarily play monk but am also open to other builds and am willing to work to sort out builds and so forth. I usually play for a few hours each night however as I am from New Zealand I am based in GMT +12 which may be a problem however on somedays I can come on earlier when needed. I would only like serious and well ranked guild (30 or above) or well known guilds to message me please.

Looking to join an American guild that is preferrably involved in PVE and PVP/GVG. I regrettably only have time to play currently on weekends and a few evenings during the week, but I will try to be as active as possible with my current work schedule. I have TeamSpeak but may not always be able to use it.

In-game, I run a level 11 Me/W as my main character, focusing on Domination with some Illusion for good measure. I also have an Elementalist and a Ranger, both of whom are pre-searing. I have not decided on second classes for either.

Out of game, I'm a computer science and english college student who enjoys gaming (PC and console), music, reading good books (currently re-reading the WoT series), and quiet walks on the beach.

Er.... Riiiiiight.

Expert PvE gamer with exceptional skill in PvP strategy. I'd like to meet you online so we can chat about my experiences, my theories, and what I can bring to a competitive PvP guild. I have unlocked almost all of the Elem, Mes, Monk and Necro skills and items in GW (over 400 PvE hours), and I can go out by myself and unlock any skill I want if I happen to need something for PvP.

I desire an exceptionally skilled guild to join because I take competition fairly seriously. I want to analyze strengths and weaknesses and make changes without people letting ego get in the way of competitive progress. I dislike the random format of pick-up PvP teaming. Thus, I have spent nearly all of my PvP time in the Competitive arenas as a result (over 1000 faction so far). If you are in the top 100 of the GW Ladder, or think you can get there, I'd like to meet you for possible membership. I am an experienced guild member (and sometimes officer) from other games.

The most important aspect of my future guild will be how active they are in the late evenings, and weekends (even during the summer). If you aren't making Tombs or GvG groups at least 3 or 4 nights a week, I won't be joining your guild. Please contact me via my forum profile. Thank you.

I have been playing GW for about 1 month now. I really enjoy the game and look forward to building more toons to experience the different aspects of the classes. I have played several games inthe past which has helped me understand the PvE and PvP strategy in a MMORPG. My background started in EQ then moved to DAoC and Shadowbane. I have tried WoW, AO, SWG, and a few other acyronyms only to get bored with them. I like GW because it offers something different and the price is right. Even though Shadowbane sucked in just about every facet of game design, the aspect and play in terms of PvP was by far the best. I learned a lot of strategy and such from that game along with DAoC. I have yet to experience GW PvP to its fullest but look forward to enjoying some great battles with a well respected guild.

What I am looking for: A mature, experienced, and fun guild that is active in PvP and PvE. I have been part of the strongest guilds in EQ, DAoC, and SB and have led several other guilds. I know what it takes to make a guild work and what drives people to want to wear the colors of a guild. I look forward to becoming an active member in a strong and well-respected guild in GW.

I am looking for a guild.

The guild I seek has:

Members with character. Friendly, polite and helpful. Dont trashtalk oposition in victory or defeat. I like people who respect their fellow players.

Mature members. I dont mean age. Just dont want to be confronted with drawings of penis' in my radar screen. Swearing is OK, but I am fine in a guild that doesnt allow it too.

Smart members. I'm no genius. But I want to play in groups that know how to identify and select targets, stay in one group, decide how tricky encounters will be done. Just the basics.

Active community. A website with an active forum where members discuss strategy, plan group make up etc.

PvP and PvE. I like both. (I'll probably lean GvG once I get going I reckon)

Teamspeak or Ventrilo.

Hey Gang. I’m not sure which website has “the” forum for guild recruiting, but I certainly hope a lot of guilds are keeping an eye out here.

I’m new to Guild Wars; haven’t quite found my footing yet. But I have been playing mmorpg’s for about 2 years now, with pretty long stints in FFXI and World of Warcraft. My guilds in both of these games were a blessing. Very close-nit. I somehow managed to fall right into them within my first few days of playing.

Hasn’t been as easy in Guild Wars…

Firstly, know that I’m really not too fussy about which guild to join. All I’m looking to do is make a few friends and have fun. I have no hang ups about joining a relatively new guild (or, of course, joining one that’s established). I’d enjoy helping to develop a guild further. As long as the guild and I have the same mentality of Quality of members over Quantity, we will get along nicely.
