Personally, I love the rune of minor absorbtion that my warmon uses. It's like having a shield and that's somethign to a hammer mon. I'm not sure how much better a superior rune would be, but I'm sure it's appreciable and I, for one, would hold out for a pretty good price.

What does it do?

Reduces the damage you take, pretty much from all sources (excepting those that ignore armor, apparently). It's not a huge amount, but it's noticeable. Like I said, it's like carrying around a shield. I'm still not sure if it's just adding AL or if it's acting like a kind of Shielding Hands and actually chipping a point or two off of any damage I take. Still, as a defensive minded war, it's something I can really get into having, you know?

I'd ask 1000 gold or a quality weapon for it, minimum. Superior Vigor and Absorbtion runes would be the most valuable runes in the game.

23+ Swords, 36+ Hammers, 22+ Fire Wands - something along those lines. Basically if I had that rune I'd try to trade it into a high end weapon for my character assuming I didn't have one already.

But if you just wanted cash, I'd ask for 1000. We are talking about the second best rune in the game here (after Superior Vigor, which is off the charts in price). I don't think you'd have any problems getting 1000 for it, honestly.

What's a Minor Water rune worth?

I'd ask for 200 or so for a Minor Water Rune - Water was growing in popularity so you should be able to sell one for that. I wouldn't seriously entertain offers below 150 myself. People were actively looking for Major runes for the most part, but that started to die down once people noticed the health hit. =)

But, where do you all find your runes from? Playing the whole weekend and the BWE before that AND the WPE before THAT I did not find ONE rune at all.

Jeff Strain said in an interview in November that they were going to let us play our characters up to and including the January beta weekend. We could then expect that there would be a wipe after the January beta weekend, in preparation for the release of the full game in early February. If the release date is still on track, then I expect that is what will happen.

I know someone who sold a superior rune for something silly like 2.5k gold. Majors were selling for around 1k.
