Organized Aggression (http://guildwars.ogaming.com/forum/index.php?showforum=42)

Organized Aggression is not a group, but a single, menacing force of many. A lone, fearsome sect of slaughter-happy soldiers, brutally and relentlessly crushing all opposition in our path. Leaving a mountain of blood worn bodies in its wake as if to challenge DEATH itself to a proverbial pissing contest is the way of our mighty guild.

We are an egomaniacal entity driven by the combined effort of all those present in our makeup. We are battle hardened and unstoppable, We are blood thirsty and crimson coated, We are everything you wish you were... We are Organized Aggression.

Organized Aggression: The Guild

Organized Aggression is first and formost, a PvsP clan. Organized Aggression will actively participate in PvsP, ladders, and tournaments. Everything short of world domination.

Organized Aggression was created to be the best. An egomaniacal entity destined for greatness. But more importantly, it was created to be better than you. Organized Aggression is bigger, better looking, and more endowed than you are. Some people are losers, some are winners. And then you have people like Organized Aggression, who can beat the crap out of both of them and take thier girl.

The guild was structured around making this possible. Therefore, Organized Aggression is intent on creating a competitive, friendly, drama-free, enviroment allowing its members to play Guild Wars to their fullest potential.

Organized Aggression: Guild Size

Organized Aggression is not going to be a large guild, with a maximum potential member database of 30 members. A smaller guild allows for a stronger sense of community in a guild. Besides, its not the size that matters. It's how you use it.

Organized Aggression: Guild Government

Guild government will be minimal. Organized Aggression is without ranks or titles. Everyone is equal. If you want to be grandmaster of the rose, or pink king of the infinite to the tenth power, you will have to look somewhere else. There will be a small commanding council for convenience, however every member will have a strong say in guild matters.

Organized Aggression: Guild Wars

Fortunately for others, Organized Aggression has never been in an official guild war. However, Organized Aggression remains in a constant state of readiness if such an eventuality did occur. Organized Aggression is always ready to mount your severed, cyber-skull onto the hood of our Clan Caddy as we take our victory lap around Arena.net. You can run but you can't hide... because of that huge wound we put in you, leaving a shimmering trail of plasma leading right to your friggin' demise.

Organized Aggression: Rules.

For the sake of convenience, Organized Aggression has adopted a short set of rules for the members to abide by.

1. Sole Guild- Once Organized Aggression, always Organized Aggression. Any member affiliating themself with any other Guild War related guild while a member of Organized Aggression is strictly prohibited.

2. Nondisclosure Agreement- Organized Aggression was created on the basis that each of the members fully trust each other and an open flow of information could be present for the best and most feared characters to be created. However, for this to be present, everyone must do their part in keeping the guild on the edge by not alerting others of guild character builds, dueling stradegies, ect.

Organized Aggression: Recruiting

As far as recruiting, quality over quantity is paramount. Organized Aggression wishes to recruit the most talented connoisseurs of carnage ever to grace Guild Wars. To do this, recruiting will be extremely selective, focusing on dueling talent and the intelligence level of the individual interested in joining. Unfortunately, this means Organized Aggression will not be actively recruiting until Guild Wars is officially released, so we can better assess dueling skill.

Beware Guild Wars. I sense a storm coming to the lands of Arena.net, and it's name is Organized Aggression.

But seriously folks I know Thano from diablo dueling . He's a legend and If he is making a GW clan it will go nowhere but to the top.

Owning in diablo usually means town guard / naked kill, or uber gear, that your buddy gave you, or you duped, or most likely, you use bots etc to get uber gear for you... Skill has very little to do with owning in diablo pvp...
Nevertheless he may be skillful, but listing diablo as a credential is a bad move... :boggled:

Good luck on your guild, I realy like the idea!! I hope you do well.. :)

This is usually the case. However, in regards to Diablo 2, I am one of the rare breed that started their pvsp careers before the influx of duping, botting, and bugged items ruined closed pvsp for the most part. I also was never a fan of public dueling, and the behaviors assosiated with it. I mainly dueled on private ladder systems and hosted tournaments within a few prominent dueling sects.

That being said, thank you everyone for your support.

Also, it is highly suggested those seeking future membership in Organized Aggression begin to associate themselves with current -OA- members. Organized Aggression is always actively looking for potential members, and while we will not be actively recruiting until the game's release, friendships can be forged until then.

Lets say Im a friendly support character who keeps you alive during combat as well as adding all kinds of other bonuses to you character to make him stronger. Unfortunately this means that in a 1 on 1 duel, I am unable to perform well because my template isn't designed for that.

Furthermore, basing membership on duels when this game has been designed primarily for group versus group combat seems rather foolhardy. It doesnt matter how good you are in a duel, because obviously some templates will excel at it.

Based on this criteria, I doubt that I would make a good addition to OA, or would I?

You are correct in your assertion that it would be foolish to base gaming talent merely on one versus one combat, especially given the fact that the game's player versus player function seems to be based predominantly on group versus group combat.

When I said 'to better assess dueling skill', I did not just mean skill in one versus one dueling. Dueling skill will be tested accross a wide variety of situations, including how well they coordenate themselves in group battle.

Support characters are very important to certain group stradegies and builds, so there is definately a possibility that one specializing in that paticuliar profession would do quite well in OA.
