Some of you may be thinking, "Is this Levithian?". Well my answer to that is quite simple. Yes and No. I just confused you didn't I. Well heres the deal. Originally we were Levithian. But as you can see the guild has gone thorugh a name change, but thats not all. The entire site, name, structure, government, and just about everything has changed. Check out the guild at http://www.levithian.uni.cc . There you will be able to find out our MERCENARY style for the guild as well as our stealth type fighting. Find out about our numerous amount of ranks and other style of play. Do not miss out on this guild and also be sure to check out the EVENT, it will allow you to raise in rank fast.

I'm curious how you intend on being mercs in this game. In a game like SB for instance, I'd say it's perfectly viable, but I just don't see a need or reason for it in GW. I hope I'm wrong though, as I'm a merc at heart, and have been since pre-release SB.

Well the site explains it a bit more, but basically a guild or person or group or whatever can sorta rent one of our members, if you understand that. Check out the site for a more in depth explanation.

I fully understand what being a merc entails, that you intend to sell your members/services, my question was how you intend to do it. Because honestly if things stay the same way they were in the E3 event, there will be a plethora of people waiting to join groups, for free, just outside the mission. I really don't see a viable way to be merc in GW.
And I'd like to read your explination, but your site is either ridiculously slow, or down.

Odd that the site is slow for you. Because does not seem to be for many others. Anyway, the whokle point of the mercenary thing is out members will be trained to fight with others and handle any situation, and they will be great fighters someone may want to hire. Also the whole hire part also refers to guilds hiring one of our members to fight for them in a battle, as long as it does not go against the rules that were made. I am not sure how this will work completly and if it will even work for that matter. But it is something to spice up the guild, make it more fun, earn it some money, and make the Guild Wars game a little bit different.

Blazer, it is true that a NPC mercenary will be loyal no matter what. However, you can not get the feel of fighting with a real person from a NPC. Also, a real person will be able to take commands differently than an NPC, react faster to that command, and have many other features in which the NPC will not.
