Welcome to the New TGH!

It’s finally here! You’ve been patient, but it’s been worth the wait. The new design is up, the official guild is running, and the content is beginning to flow. All that’s left is you – get a forum account and start enjoying the New TGH today.
Who We Are
The Guild Hall is one of the original Guild Wars fansites, founded back in August of 2003, and has been an influential part of the Guild Wars community ever since. However, we are a community first and a fansite second. While we care about Guild Wars, we care about improving it more. TGH has always placed a high premium on constructive criticism and mature discussion. Members are encouraged to speak their minds without being stifled by overzealous moderators. That being said, we are an official Guild Wars fansite, and, more importantly, we are a strong community, and members are always expected to remain respectful.
New Content
The forums have always been our lifeblood here at TGH. Our community has been serving up intelligent (and entertaining) discussion throughout the years. While that certainly won’t change, we also want to offer more, in the form of both full-length articles and mini-column entries. We are currently looking for members interested in contributing frequent content to join our staff as Site Contributors. Want to write articles, draw comics, or cook up your own column? Site Contributors retain creative control – we’ll never tell you to produce something you don’t want to. Don’t think you can commit to a staff positon? We’re also looking for freelance content producers to provide an article here or there or post on one of our blog columns listed below.
Observe and Report
Observer mode is arguably one of the best additions to Guild Wars since release. As the Home of PvP, TGH is always eager to hear about new and exciting things in the PvP community. Watch a game that highlighted a particular tactic? See a build that’s trying something new? Observe and Report is a column that details all types of new PvP happenings.
From the Frontlines
While not everyone at TGH still plays Guild Wars, we were all active at some time. With almost five years since the earliest betas, everyone has a good story or two. Want to reminisce about the betas, complain about the old FOTMs, or brag about your accomplishments? It doesn’t matter if it happened four years ago or yesterday – if you have a story worth telling, we’re happy to share it.
Branskins Blabbers
Our own Branskins, Site Contributor and former alpha wannabe, has been playing Guild Wars from the very start, “dreaming” up improvements all along. Commentary on skill updates, new gameplay ideas, random rage – it’s all fair game. It’s his turf.
This is an exciting time for TGH, and we’re glad you’re here to join us. We encourage you to enjoy all that the new TGH has to offer. On behalf of the entire staff here at The Guild Hall, welcome!
